General Trim Work

	FACIAS A common problem is broken facia boards that need to be replaced. Unless otherwise instructed, we replace facia boards with fibre cement 90 degree lipped barge boards. The reason for this is they cover the exposed pieces of timber between the roof and the facia. The new facias need to be cut to size and shaped. This is done by means of a grinder and a special cutting disc. Once all timber work has been inspected and if necessary tended to. The new facia boards are then fitted.
	Once fitted the facias are primed and coated with 2 coats of 100% Acrylic roof coating. The finished product. GUTTERS All gutters are hydro washed and sanded. * Please note that we do not remove all the old paint only that paint which is loose and flaking. By sanding, holes and other defects are sometimes found.
	This gutter is beyond repair, it will be removed.A new gutter needs to be cut to size, and all corner sections and straight sections are to be fitted. The same would happen with any new down pipes fitted. Once new gutter/ down pipe is installed, it is coated with a galvaniser cleaner, such as Gal clean. This product removes the waxy residue left from manufacture. They are then primed and coated with 2 coats of 100% roof acrylic.
